Feel the good of the earth

Each morning I opened the blinds of my little studio and looked onto the mountain still covered with mist.

I would imagine what it would feel like to walk in the cool of the trees as the base. I remembered a friend asking if I was feeding my soul while being busy. This book was my response. A simple book, its pages printed on a gel plate picking up the colours of the light and greens of the grasses. I love magpies and use them often in my artworks; here I use the magpies to speak to each other as confidantes. The paper used is 300gsm arches water colour paper, stitched together using coptic binding stitch. The enclosurea slip cover.
